Amy Mann, Executive Director

With over 20 years of dedicated service in ministry and child advocacy, Amy Mann is the Executive Director of Family Cornerstones, where she brings her passion for supporting families and nurturing children to the forefront of her work. Amy’s journey is marked by her deep commitment to service and her impressive educational background, holding both an MBA and an MDiv.

Amy’s career is a testament to her unwavering dedication to helping others. Her extensive experience spans from working directly with children in ministry to leading initiatives that strengthen family units through Family Cornerstones. Her leadership is characterized by a heartfelt desire to love and serve others with empathy and excellence.

Outside of her professional life, Amy is a devoted mother to an adult daughter and currently provides a loving home to two foster children. Her personal and professional experiences reflect a life dedicated to nurturing and supporting those around her.

Amy finds fulfillment in her ability to positively impact lives, and her work continues to inspire those who have the privilege of working with her.

Diana Lewis, Parent Educator – Supervisor

Dianna Lewis brings a wealth of experience and a treasure trove of wisdom to her role as Parent Educator at Family Cornerstones. Her deep-seated love for families and commitment to community enrichment shine through in every aspect of her work. Dianna’s genuine passion for supporting and empowering parents is matched by her exceptional ability to connect with others, making her a cherished member of our team.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dianna’s bilingual skills further enhance her ability to reach and assist a diverse range of families, making her an invaluable asset to our organization. Her linguistic talents are complemented by her warm, empathetic approach to education and support.

Residing in McDonald, TN, Dianna is a proud mother of three adult daughters and a doting grandmother who often boasts about her “best grandchildren in the world.” Her personal and professional lives reflect a deep commitment to fostering strong family bonds and nurturing the growth of those around her. Dianna’s contributions continue to inspire and uplift, leaving a lasting impact on the families and community she serves.

Beth Freeman, Parent Educator

Born and raised in the Chattanooga area, Beth Freeman is a proud mother of four and has always considered motherhood the greatest calling of her life. With her children now grown, Beth is bringing her deep passion for parenting and child development to the families of Bradley County as a dedicated Parent Educator.

Beth finds joy in helping other parents grow in confidence and connection with their children. Her warm, nurturing presence and real-world experience as a mother make her a trusted guide and advocate for families. In her free time, Beth enjoys singing, cooking, and spending time with children—activities that continue to reflect her lifelong commitment to care and creativity.

Gloria Villegas, Parent Educator

Gloria Villegas brings over a decade of dedication and expertise in early childhood education, driven by a lifelong passion for nurturing young minds. Her career began with a remarkable milestone—becoming the youngest employee at Whitfield County Schools immediately after graduating high school in 2016. During her time there, she was honored as Paraprofessional of the Year for two consecutive years, a testament to her commitment and exceptional care for her students.

Gloria’s journey has taken her through a variety of impactful roles, including serving as a lead teacher at Head Start, where she worked with children from infancy through age four, fostering both academic readiness and social-emotional growth. She went on to become Assistant Director of a faith-based preschool, where she combined her leadership skills with her deep understanding of early learning environments. Her work has always been rooted in the belief that every child deserves a safe, supportive, and enriching place to grow.

Today, Gloria serves at Family Cornerstones – Starfish, bringing her love for children, her leadership experience, and her extensive background in early childhood education to serve the community. She is currently furthering her education in psychology, deepening her ability to support children’s development and well-being. Known for her warmth, dedication, and drive to make a difference, Gloria continues to inspire both the children she serves and the families she works alongside.

Melissa Selman, Parent Educator

Melissa is a dedicated parent educator who brings a wealth of experience from her background as a special education teacher in the public school system. She is married and the proud mother of a beautiful daughter. Passionate about serving others, Melissa has a genuine love for people and a heart for supporting families. As one of our newest parent educators, she will be focusing on Safe Baby cases, where her knowledge, compassion, and commitment will make a meaningful impact.

Heidi Lokey, Office Manager

Heidi Lokey recently joined our team as our first-ever Office Manager, and we are honored to have her in this role. She is the proud mom of four wonderful children, ranging in age from 2 to 17, and a bonus mom to three additional children. Heidi relocated to Cleveland, TN five years ago, and it has truly grown on her. She brings wisdom, strong organizational skills, and a steady presence to everything she does, making her a valuable asset to our team.
